HK/LI. US), demanding compensation of 1 million yuan, deletion of related works, and apology in the newspaper. The cause of the incident was a short video that hinted at the content related to the ideal MEGA.
On August 14, Idealized Auto responded to the Red Star Capital Bureau and said: "On March 7 this year, Idealized Auto found the Tiktok account 'Dong Laosi Says about Car' and released a short video called Crazy New Car. The video contains a lot of insulting information that denigrates the Idealized Auto brand and MEGA model, causing a bad impact. In this regard, Idealized Auto took rights protection measures according to law, and the case is currently being tried in the court."
According to the video posted by the blogger, they have currently commissioned a lawyer to respond to the lawsuit. The blogger stated that they will actively respond and hope to resolve the issue through communication. He emphasized that the original intention of his car was to make friends and create the heat of new energy together, rather than deliberately damaging the image of any enterprise.
"Dong Laosi Says Che" has 356000 fans on the Tiktok platform. It adopts the funny style of situational dialogue. As of press release, its account has published 195 works and won 5.195 million praises.
The blogger also mentioned in the video that Ideal Auto believes that its actions constitute infringement on the MEGA model and damage the image of the entrepreneur. Ideal Automobile demands the deletion of relevant videos, a public apology for 30 days, compensation of 1 million yuan, and bearing litigation costs.
In response to this, the blogger stated that their creative content is based on hot topics and results, and they have not been directed by anyone, nor have they instructed netizens to comment, nor have they obtained illegal benefits from it. He believes that the image and sales of MEGA are mainly determined by the design and price of the vehicle itself, rather than being influenced by a single video content.
Ideal Automobile also stated to Red Star Capital Bureau that "the general public and self media have the right to make reasonable evaluations and discussions on social hot topics, but these have certain limits and cannot exceed the boundaries of the law, including so-called jokes created by self media, which cannot be escalated to serious insults or defamation, defaming the company. When a company believes that a certain statement is suspected of infringing on its reputation and causing harm to its business operations, it has the right to protect its rights through legal means, which is a normal and lawful act of rights protection. If the relevant creative videos guide the public to have negative associations with Ideal Automobile, publish insulting remarks, and thus produce negative evaluations and damage consequences, it is suspected of infringing on the company's reputation rights
