On August 13th local time, Texas federal district judge Reed O'Connor applied to recuse himself from the lawsuit filed by Tesla CEO Elon Musk. Previously, he was assigned to hear lawsuits filed by Musk's social media platform X against multiple advertisers. Later, there were reports that the judge held shares in another Musk affiliated company, Tesla. According to O'Connor's recent financial disclosure, he also invested in Unilever, which is one of the defendants in Musk's lawsuit.
