According to the announcement on June 28th local time, Berkshire Hathaway founder Warren Buffett has once again donated approximately 13 million Berkshire Hathaway B-shares worth $5.3 billion to the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and four family charitable organizations. This is his largest annual donation since he started donating in 2006. Buffett's donation increased his total donation to charitable organizations to approximately $57 billion.
