On May 20th, Sohu released its Q1 2024 financial report, which showed a revenue of $139 million, including $16 million in brand advertising revenue and $118 million in online gaming revenue. Under non US GAAP, Sohu suffered a net loss of $22 million in the first quarter of 2024. Sohu CEO Zhang Chaoyang said, "In the first quarter of 2024, despite seasonal impacts, our revenue met expectations and our net loss was better than previously expected."
