On Monday Eastern Time, the three major indexes of the US stock market collectively closed higher, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average and the S&P 500 index reaching new historical highs. As of the close, the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 0.47%, the Nasdaq rose 0.87%, and the S&P 500 index rose 0.77%. Most popular Chinese concept stocks fell on Monday. The Nasdaq China Golden Dragon Index (HXC) closed down 2.09%.
