According to the Tianyancha App, on December 21st, Chuzhou Guangqi Automotive Parts Co., Ltd. was established with a registered capital of 500 million RMB. The legal representative, executive director, and general manager are Qin Lihong, co-founder of NIO Automobile. The business scope includes the manufacturing of automotive parts and accessories, wholesale of automotive spare parts, sales of mechanical equipment, manufacturing of metal structures, and import and export of goods. The company is wholly owned by NIO Automotive Technology (Anhui) Co., Ltd.
In February of this year, it was revealed that NIO's fourth vehicle factory was confirmed to settle in Chuzhou, Anhui, and will be used for the production of NIO's third brand, with an internal code name of "Firefly".
