On November 29th, Interface News learned that after pulling out the particularly lengthy Black Friday campaign, the 2023 Amazon "Black Friday" and "Online Shopping Monday" promotional activities have once again broken records. During the event from November 17th to 27th, global consumers purchased over one billion items on Amazon Mall, saving nearly 70% compared to the same period last year in 11 days.
This year, Amazon Black Friday started its warm-up on November 17th and officially ended on November 27th, making it the longest active Black Friday in history. According to data from Adobe Analytics, sales on Black Friday in the United States are expected to increase by 7.5% year-on-year this year, reaching $9.8 billion (approximately RMB 70 billion), setting a new historical high.
Meanwhile, according to Adobe's estimate, online Monday's sales will reach a record high of $12 billion, an increase of 6.1% from the same period last year.
