JD Group announced its performance for the third quarter of 2023 on November 15th. The revenue in the third quarter was RMB 247.7 billion ($34 billion), an increase of 1.7% compared to the third quarter of 2022. The operating profit for the third quarter was 9.3 billion yuan (1.3 billion US dollars), compared to 8.7 billion yuan in the same period last year. The operating profit margin of JD Retail excluding undistributed items in the third quarter was 5.2%, which is the same as the third quarter of 2022. The net profit attributable to our common shareholders in the third quarter was RMB 7.9 billion ($1.1 billion), compared to RMB 6 billion in the same period last year. The net profit attributable to ordinary shareholders of the company under non US GAAP in the third quarter of 2023 was RMB 10.6 billion ($1.5 billion), compared to RMB 10 billion in the same period last year.
