On November 7th, Beijing time, Guo Mingming, an analyst at Tianfeng International Securities, released the latest supply chain survey stating that due to higher than expected demand for AI servers from enterprises, Dell has requested a significant increase in production of AI server components (such as casings, motherboard SMTs, etc.) that are capacity bottlenecks by about 200% to meet future needs of corporate customers. And AI server shipments will benefit traditional server demand, so Dell currently expects the total server shipment volume to resume growth to 15% YoY in 2024 (vs. a decline of approximately 10% YoY in 2023). Due to limitations in AI chip supply, Dell's AI server shipments in 2023 will be 10000 to 15000 units or less, but it is expected to significantly grow to 25000 to 30000 units or more in 2024.
