Delta Air Lines announced on August 8th local time that it is filing legal claims against Microsoft and cybersecurity company CrowdStrike. The software update of CrowdStrike last month caused system issues for Microsoft customers, including many airlines. This Atlanta based airline cancelled approximately 7000 flights within five days, causing an estimated loss of at least $500 million. The company is also facing an investigation by the US Department of Transportation.
