At the first flight ceremony of Daotian Park in Taiyuan City, two EH216-S aircraft took off with passengers, and the first batch of four passengers experienced it. In May, Xishan Culture and Tourism signed a memorandum of cooperation with Yihang Intelligence and a purchase order for 50 EH216-S aircraft, with plans to purchase an additional 450 aircraft in the next 2 years. Wang Zhao, Chief Operating Officer of Yihang Intelligent, stated that the Civil Aviation Administration of China has officially accepted Yihang's EH216-S operation qualification certificate application, marking a new stage of development for the global eVTOL industry. At present, Yihang Intelligence is gradually completing the bulk delivery of EH216-S orders in Taiyuan, Hefei, Wuxi, Wenzhou, Zhuhai and other places, and assisting all partners who are building application scenarios to obtain operating licenses.
