According to data disclosed by Huize, the Darwin series products have accumulated compensation of 527 million yuan, with an average case compensation amount of 450000 yuan and a maximum individual compensation amount of 1.275 million yuan. In addition, Darwin 9 has effectively improved insurance coverage for customers after serious illnesses through product liability innovation. After the upgrade of Darwin 9 and the launch of critical illness compensation, the protection for mild to moderate illnesses not only continues to take effect, but also achieves a breakthrough in non grouping compensation.
According to Huize, as a popular critical illness product under its umbrella, the Darwin series of critical illness insurance has cumulatively underwritten over 310000 customers since its launch in 2018, with a coverage amount of over 100 billion yuan.
