The 2024 Annual Meeting of the China Development Forum will be held from March 24th to 25th, 2024. On the afternoon of March 24th, a special seminar on carbon neutrality and global climate governance was held. BHP CEO Han Murui introduced that China is very important in the global transition to clean energy and has demonstrated leadership in various aspects.
Han Murui stated that throughout 2023, China's investment in clean energy increased by 24% year-on-year, reaching 676 billion US dollars, which is one of the biggest driving forces for the country's economic development. Successful energy transformation requires innovative, collaborative, and regional development strategies.
