On March 20th, NIO official WeChat reported that NIO's first high-speed optical storage charging and discharging integrated swapping station has officially been put into operation in the G50 Shanghai Chongqing Expressway Branch Jiangxi Service Area. The swapping station was jointly built by NIO and Hubei Chutian Expressway. It is reported that the power exchange station adopts the HPC bidirectional high-power liquid cooled power supply module developed by NIO, with a charging and discharging power of 62.5kW. This swapping station realizes bidirectional interaction with the power grid, not only providing vehicle swapping services, but also responding to power grid dispatch instructions, discharging the power grid in reverse, allowing the swapping station to better utilize its energy storage characteristics. At the same time, the power exchange station is also connected to the photovoltaic system within the service area, which can consume more than 1300 degrees of photovoltaic green electricity per day.
