On March 14th, at the NIO Long Life Battery Strategy Communication Meeting, Li Bin called on the entire new energy vehicle industry to pay attention to and work together to solve the battery life problem. At the communication meeting that day, NIO and CATL signed a framework agreement. It is understood that both parties will promote the research and innovation of long-life batteries based on the needs of NIO battery swapping scenarios. Based on intrinsic research and operation innovation, NIO has launched a 15 year long life power battery solution to address the issue of the calendar and cycle life of power batteries being different from those of cars. The goal is to achieve a 15 year battery life and a health level of no less than 85%.
