He Xiaopeng told Securities Times reporters that increasing efforts to encourage the development of flying cars is a major issue for China to develop new productive forces, promote the scale of manned low altitude economic industries, and enhance the quality and efficiency of the national economy at the current stage.
Exploration of limited scenario autonomous driving regulations introduced
Currently, the penetration of new energy vehicles in China is accelerating, and the number of vehicles is growing rapidly. Although the charging infrastructure is also maintaining a high-speed growth trend, it still faces challenges such as limited land resources, insufficient power capacity, and long investment return cycles.
At the same time, the structural contradictions in the current charging market are still prominent, with an overall low installation rate of private charging stations, and public charging stations generally bearing higher energy replenishment pressure. In this regard, He Xiaopeng suggests exploring policies and regulations for limited scenario low-speed autonomous driving, and conducting pilot applications for limited scenario nighttime low-speed autonomous driving and supplementary energy.
Specifically, He Xiaopeng suggests conducting regulatory verification and exploration of low-speed autonomous driving in limited scenarios, and allowing places and cities with conditions to select public charging stations near main roads with good road traffic conditions. Within a certain radius of coverage, pilot programs for night low-speed autonomous driving should be opened, and car companies with verifiable technical conditions should be selected to carry out night low-speed driving and parking pilot activities for some end users. Thus exploring the entire process of vehicle automatic pile finding, automatic parking, automatic charging, and automatic return.
He Xiaopeng told Securities Times reporters that restructuring the demand for energy replenishment in time and space, transforming charging from proactive behavior to automated roaming services, can better consume green and clean energy, facilitate user energy replenishment, and achieve a win-win situation for the power grid, users, charging station operators, and car companies.
Promote top-level design of car network interaction
In addition to exploring more efficient ways of energy supplementation, He Xiaopeng believes that strengthening the interaction and integration between car networks is also crucial.
He Xiaopeng believes that vehicle mounted power batteries have the property of mobile energy storage and can interact with the power grid as a large-scale, distributed and flexible resource, further exerting the power grid regulation ability of peak shaving and valley filling, and playing an important role in real-time balance and safe operation of the power grid.
Based on this, He Xiaopeng suggests promoting top-level design of car network interaction, building mature business models, unifying relevant standards, exploring more application scenarios, and accelerating market-oriented promotion.
"It is recommended to establish a standard system for each link of Taiche Network interaction as soon as possible, clarify the trading mechanism of the electricity market, accelerate the construction of a mature business model for Taiche Network interaction, and form stable profit expectations for all parties involved." He Xiaopeng told Securities Times reporters that from the perspective of technical route, it is recommended that Taiche Network interaction support the extension and application of V2L (vehicle external discharge) to V2G (vehicle network interaction), fully tap into the existing technical capabilities of vehicle and pile ends, Realize low-power and large-scale vehicle network interactive applications at lower costs. Simultaneously encourage the construction of bidirectional communication and charging networks at the destination, cooperate with community private charging, and achieve new micro grid interactive applications such as V2V (vehicle to vehicle discharge) and V2B (vehicle to building discharge).
Promote the acceleration development of flying cars
He Xiaopeng's suggestions not only revolve around intelligent new energy vehicles, but also extend to the field of flying cars. He Xiaopeng pointed out that the current general aviation operation system has many restrictions and cumbersome processes, which cannot meet the needs of the large-scale application of the new generation of flying vehicles. In addition, the research and development technology of flying cars is difficult, and multiple key technologies urgently need to be broken through. The related infrastructure construction also needs to be supplemented.
"The integration of automotive and aviation industrial systems in the aviation industry is a completely new topic in terms of product certification, operational management, and operational safety." He Xiaopeng pointed out that although there are many challenges, the development process of the aviation industry is similar to that of new energy vehicles ten years ago. Relevant national departments need to encourage innovation, boldly look forward in regulations, vigorously support policies, and accelerate the application and landing of aviation vehicles.
Specifically, He Xiaopeng's suggestions focus on three aspects. Firstly, accelerate the top-level design and strategic planning of the flying car industry, and make forward-looking top-level plans in product management, product certification, and standard system design. Clarify the top-level plan for flying car certification, increase investment in certification resources, and form a phased implementation path for product certification; Secondly, focusing on the large-scale application of flying vehicles, we will establish and improve relevant operational systems to support the large-scale application of products from multiple aspects such as driver qualifications, airspace, and operational management; The third is to refer to the experience of policy development in the new energy vehicle industry, formulate policy plans for the development of the flying vehicle industry, and introduce supporting implementation plans to promote the high-speed development of the flying vehicle industry.
He Xiaopeng told Securities Times reporters that increasing efforts to encourage the development of flying cars is a major issue in China's current development of new quality productivity, which is conducive to promoting high-quality development of China's strategic emerging industries.
