On February 19th, the Zhaoqing High tech Zone held a concentrated signing and commencement ceremony for key projects in the first quarter of 2024.
Among them, all projects in the West Park of Xiaopeng Intelligent Automobile Supporting Parts Industry Park have officially started construction, marking a solid step in the construction of the Dawang New Energy Intelligent Automobile Industry Cluster in Zhaoqing High tech Zone, and starting a new process of constructing a "ten thousand mu and one hundred billion" new energy automobile industry platform. This will provide strong industrial support for Zhaoqing to accelerate the construction of the western growth pole of the Pearl River Delta core area and the modern new city of the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area.

Seven Xiaopeng Intelligent Automotive Supporting Parts Industrial Park projects, including the Bojun Automotive Parts Production Project, the Farada Battery Management System and Thermal Management System Research Base Construction Project, and the Meitu Automotive Spray Equipment Manufacturing Project, which started construction on the same day, have a total investment of 3 billion yuan.
The construction of this batch of projects will further promote the improvement of the new energy vehicle industry chain system in Zhaoqing High tech Zone, and rapidly enhance the local supporting capacity of new energy vehicle production projects.

It is understood that the first phase of the Xiaopeng Intelligent Automotive Supporting Parts Industrial Park covers an area of 1048 acres, focusing on building a complete and highly clustered industrial chain, committed to creating a smart park with "wall supply and timely response", providing a good carrier for the landing of new energy vehicle industry projects, and promoting the formation of a development pattern of the entire new energy vehicle industry chain.
In recent years, Zhaoqing High tech Zone has adhered to the development of new energy vehicles, automotive components, and new energy storage "dual new" industries as the focus, with Xiaopeng Automobile and Ruiqing Times as the core, continuously increasing industrial investment, accelerating the pace of strengthening, supplementing, and extending the new energy vehicle industry chain, introducing a number of high-quality supporting projects upstream and downstream of the industrial chain, and striving to build a first-class domestic new energy vehicle production base, power and energy storage battery manufacturing base.
At present, Zhaoqing High tech Zone has more than 80 new energy vehicle and automotive parts enterprises, forming a new industrial pattern of comprehensive development in the whole vehicle, key automotive components, automotive electronics, automotive safety, automotive lightweighting, charging facilities, and automotive aftermarket. The pace of industrial agglomeration is constantly accelerating, and the "tens of thousands of acres and billions of yuan" new energy vehicle industry cluster has begun to take shape.
This year, Zhaoqing High tech Zone will continue to focus on the construction of "dual core and one city". While the West Park of Xiaopeng Intelligent Automobile Supporting Parts Industry Park is fully under construction, it will accelerate the construction of supporting infrastructure in the East Park, presenting a bustling scene of investment and construction. More significant results will be achieved in enterprise project investment and land construction, promoting the "landing and flowering" of the construction of Zhaoqing Dawang New Energy Intelligent Automobile Industry City.
