The product is available in three versions: 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB, with prices of $3499, $3699, and $3899 respectively. The highest configuration version, along with all optional additional configurations, is priced at $4795.95 (1TB version+optical lenses+Apple Care+service+Belkin charger+travel case).
This device is defined by Apple as a "spatial computing device". According to the official introduction, Vision Pro is neither AR nor VR. It blends virtual and reality, and all real-world images are captured and rendered in real-time. VisionOS is equipped with a brand new 3D interface, making digital content appear and feel like it exists in the user's real world. Through the changes in natural light and shadows, it helps users understand proportion and distance.
Xinda Securities stated that as Apple's first MR product, Vision Pro and its related Vision ecosystem are gradually being constructed. VisionOS is expected to lead a new round of global technological innovation, change user interaction experience, bring profound impacts to people's lifestyles, office, entertainment and other needs, and seamlessly integrate digital content with physical space.
According to the "2023-2029 Global and China Extended Reality Technology Market Status and Future Development Trends" released by the China Academy of Commerce, the size of China's MR market will reach 4.859 billion yuan in 2023, and the global market size will reach 52.6 billion US dollars; In 2029, the Chinese and global markets will increase to 41.381 billion yuan and 416.6 billion US dollars respectively. Wanlian Securities believes that with the iteration and upgrading of hardware and the expansion of software, the overall future of the MR industry is promising.
