On July 27th, iQiyi announced that Liu Wenfeng had resigned from his position as Chief Technology Officer of iQiyi due to personal reasons, with immediate effect. He will continue to serve as the President of the Infrastructure and Intelligent Content Distribution Business Group, dedicated to advancing the company's technological infrastructure and the widespread application of AI technology in long video content. The company has decided not to appoint a new Chief Technology Officer.
Liu Wenfeng joined iQiyi in 2012 and is fully responsible for the development and construction of iQiyi's infrastructure. Since 2018, he has served as iQiyi's CTO, leading the overall product and technical work of iQiyi. In a recent public speech, he demonstrated that iQiyi has applied generative AI to multiple stages of creation.
IQiyi's US stock closed up 0.64% to $3.13.
