According to the latest estimate released by research firm Cox Automotive on July 9th, Tesla's share in the US electric vehicle market dropped to 49.7% in the second quarter of this year, marking the first time in a quarter that Tesla's share had fallen below 50%, a decrease of nearly 10 percentage points from 59.3% in the same period last year.
