The largest agricultural bank in Japan, the Agricultural and Forestry Central Treasury Bank, suffered huge losses. As US interest rates continue to remain high and US bond losses continue to expand, Japan's Agricultural and Forestry Bank of China recently announced that its losses for 2024 will jump from an estimated 500 billion yen to a net loss of 1.5 trillion yen.
