On May 27th local time, Stellantis Group announced plans to produce the Fiat 500 hybrid version at the Mirafiori factory in Italy and the Jeep Compass hybrid version at the Melfi factory.
Tang Weishi, Global CEO of Stellantis Group, stated that under the uncertainty of electrification and fierce competition from new entrants, this move will help achieve the goal of producing 1 million cars in Italy by 2030.
