Reuters, citing sources familiar with the matter, reported that Meta Platforms (META) is preparing to lay off employees in its Reality Labs division for the Metaverse on Wednesday.
Meta employees, who learned of the layoffs on Tuesday through Workplace, the Facebook parent's internal forum, will be informed of their employment status early on Wednesday, Reuters reported.
