According to Bloomberg, a spokesperson for American semiconductor company Micron Technology stated in a media email statement on the 24th that a global settlement agreement has been reached with Fujian Jinhua Integrated Circuit Co., Ltd.

The spokesperson stated that "both companies will withdraw their lawsuits against each other globally and end all lawsuits between the two sides," but refused to provide further details.
Fujian Jinhua was established in 2016, jointly funded by Fujian Electronic Information Group, Jinjiang Energy Investment Group Co., Ltd., and other companies. Through cooperation with Taiwan Lianhua Electronic Technology (Liandian), this enterprise specialized in manufacturing Dynamic Random Access Memory (DRAM) memory was established.
In September 2017, Meguiar sued Unilever in Taiwan, China, China, accusing employees who had changed jobs from Meguiar to Unilever of stealing Meguiar's trade secrets and allegedly leaking Meguiar's technology to Unilever. In December of the same year, Micron sued Fujian Jinhua and Liandian in a federal court in California, claiming that Liandian had stolen their intellectual property, including key DRAM technologies, through Micron's Taiwanese employees and delivered them to Fujian Jinhua. For many years, Micron Technology has filed lawsuits in multiple parts of the world, demanding that Lianhua Electronics and Fujian Jinhua be held responsible for infringement.
In January 2018, Fujian Jinhua filed a lawsuit against Meiguang for infringement of a series of products sold in China, requesting Meiguang to immediately stop infringing on Jinhua's patents and claim 196 million yuan.
In the same year, the US Department of Commerce included Fujian Jinhua in the export control "physical list" on the grounds of national security.
In 2021, Uni President and Micron announced a settlement, and US prosecutors agreed to waive charges of economic espionage against Uni President. According to a Bloomberg report on December 24th, Micron stated that the company and Fujian Jinhua have also reached a global settlement agreement, in which both parties will end their previous lawsuits against each other and withdraw their lawsuits globally.
Bloomberg reported that about 25% of Micron's global revenue comes from the Chinese market.
